A squirrel has used the car as a storage place for its walnuts.
I would now like to completely remove the upholstery. I have 2 problems.
How can I remove the tunnel lining (the screws in the storage box behind the armrest) how do I get the top part of the carpeting behind the seats removed?
Can you please help me?
I can't remember how to remove the "tunnel lining"
To remove the carpet behind the seats.... from memory..... start with the hood up but the rear section raised - best to prop it, because the hydraulics will only last 5 mins and the the rear section will fall!
1 Remove the net behind the passenger seat - #10
2 Remove the black plastic bar (should just prise off) - #1
3 Remove the screws - #2
4 Remove the cubby hole cover - #4 - you have to release the metal 'springs' #6
5 Remove the edge covering to the cubby hole - #9
6 Remove the speaker cover - #2
7 Remove the plugs that hold the vertical carpet to the bulkhead - #4
8 Remove the Screws - #2 (10 in all)
9 I think you might have to remove the two triangle flaps that are 'down' when the roof is stowed, just behind each door - #not shown
10 Remove the Curved Bulkhead - #1
After removing any more plugs that hold down the carpet #1 in pic 2, you should be able to remove it
