Anyone know this car?

I'm in the hunt for a late phase 2, GTV Twinnie in red with v. low milage, interested to hear what people think of this currently being auctioned on ebay.

For such a low mileage car it looks a little neglected to me.

Can Alfa red cars be found with factory paint in great condition, or realistically is the dreaded paint fade & lacquer peel inevitable? Anyone with a one owner red car for sale?

I don't think it looks neglected at all. I have a year 2000 TS spider in rosso - the plastics on the inner doors are the same as the GTVs - they are very flimsy brittle plastic - mine has holes and splits too, but think they will be an easy cosmetic fix with some filler and paint.

My car is low mileage (less than 60 000 miles for a 15yr old car), but despite having had a respray by the previous owner, needs the bumpers re-done due to blistering and peeling.

I think the wee car you are looking at looks fine - just a little steep price wise due to seller trying to re-coup money for the re-spray. (I paid £1200 for my spider).

Holed door cards are common, just replace them with good 2nd hand. Car looks ok, burns would be more of a concern to me.

Alfa GTV

That looks in very good order and a set of 17 teledials on that would really make it pop.
Took my 98 TS out of winter storage just today and i think mines good but this one looks even nicer.

Looks good to me. Hole in door and ciggy burns are easily fixable. I would be more interested in the quality of the respray, looks good in the photo's. Original mileage must be confirmed with old MOTs etc.

Yes, it may be low mileage and look good, but Oh that price! for a twinnie, in my opinion that is very steep!

If thats a good quality respray and the mileage can be proved as genuine, then thats a very nice car and a fair price.

The two minor faults are fixed <£100, and off you go!
