Silly question

Anyone into skiing??

Right is it possible to get a set of skiis to fit inside the cabin of a GTV, say down the side of the passenger seat (so a passenger can still sit in it), or are they too long?

I went skiing in January and loved it and am thinking of getting more into it and am just wondering if the old GTV can accomodate this potentiaal new hobby.

Re: Silly question

Not sure you'll get them to fit inside but never tried.

This should do the trick;
There are probably other places that do them too.

Re: Silly question

Unless you have those very short stubby skis I think you will need one of those boot racks.

Re: Silly question

I get two snowboards across the back (footwell to rear window) but the longest is a 159. Skis tend to be longer and there's not much room for manoeuvre, but it does leave most of the available space for luggage (although you have to pack your board bag in the car park when you arrive). Also your speed/security is not compromised by external fittings. You may find some way of sliding them in front to back but there's only one way to find out!
