Back to the fold!

Bought myself a GTV!

Had a 1997 GTV about 6-7 years ago and loved it, but it was an expensive love affair, always trouble and had to go.
Previously had a 33 but not for many years. Most recently a Discovery and a BMW 323 coupe, but the BMW left me stranded at the side of the road (again), so I decided to get myself a new (to me) car and stumbled across this little GTV and immediately bought it....

Its a 2002 (52 plate) GTV and I love it!! Got to say its possibly the best car ive ever had - honestly drives like brand new - not a squeak, not a creak, not a bang, bump or grumble!
I was amazed! Its covered 79000 miles, so pretty low for a car pushing 15 years old.

The guy I bought it from said it was pretty much a weekend car for him, but for me it was to be an every day commute slogger!

Had it a week now and in that week have done just about 500 miles and its been a dream! Feels like twice the car, and certainly twice the fun of the BMW. My daily commute is a mix of rural roads (right over the Car and fiddle), and dual carriageways from Buxton to Manchester everyday.

Anyway - here it is, filthy dirty after 500 miles in 6 days!
