Replacing an electric mirror

Hello all

Just bought a replacement wing mirror from a salvage company.
Rather than spend an hour deliberating how I remove it, can anyone give me a pointer? It is a 99GTV lusso so it is electric mirrors.

The plate the mirror sits on is already attached to the mirror so it should be straight on and off.

Thanks for any help you can give

Re: Replacing an electric mirror

I may be wrong but I think you may only have to remove the 'sail panel' interior trim by unscrewing the allen screw in the door shut (front edge of door). pull the trim off carefully as there is a plastic 'tang' retaining it as well as the screw. I'm sure all will then be revealed. I remember there is a convenient multi plug in there ofr te electrical connections. That's on my '99 V6 anyway.
