where is the handbrake sensor?

Anyone know? On the handbrake itself or elsewhere on the braking system. I have the light flickering, particularly over bumps etc. I assuming its the sensor a bit stiff, or a wire needs reseating properly.
Probably the latter as I hardly use a car at the moment as i live so close to work and town and the places i go to daily meaning the handbrake is often left on for a while

Have you checked the brake fluid level, if its low it can cause the light to flicker over bumps.
Unscrew the cap and wiggle the dip thingy (technical term there) as well, remember on my old 146 this sometimes went a bit dicky and caused the light to come on even though the fluid was ok.

Ditto check to make sure the wire is properly plugged in on the brake fluid reservoir sensor.
