Flat battery starting woes....
Spider has been off road for a few months now.
I have had a routine of starting it every fortnight or so to keep the battery topped up, but between one thing and another missed it and the battery is now flat as a pancake.
No problem, I have jump leads and will get it going from the other car.
Connect everything up, she starts first time, but the alarm goes off and our 1 year old is asleep upstairs so I turn the ignition off.
A little later when junior is awake I reconnect everything to start again but here is the problem!
Now she turns over but won't start. If I turn the ignition to MAR the injector light and the code light come on and stay on, but also the radiator fan kicks in immediately and runs even though the car is stone cold.
Now I have read about disconnecting the battery to reset code problems but in this case there is not a shred of charge in the battery anyway!
Any suggestions of where I go from here?
