Broken Slave Cylinder

I have a 1998 GTV and last night I had to get rescued by the RAC as I have a leak in my slave cylinder so my clutch stopped working.

I have now left it at an independent mechanic, but was wondering if anyone could tell me what will the work involved be and how much I should expect to pay for it?

Re: Broken Slave Cylinder

The slave should be on top of the gearbox for that age of car so a simple job. Part is about £40 I think, fitting no more than an hour for a mechanic.
