Re: Help - Radiator replacement
I haven't tried seriously yet but the radiator arrived some time ago. I glanced at the job and didn't think it looked too difficult. All these cars seem to need rads at the moment and there have been several posts. The hose clips will pop open with the swist of an appropriate screwdriver and can usually be refitted with pliers according to how much access there is. Several different types of plier can be a help. If in doubt replace them with worm-drive 'jubilee' clips. Probably more serviceable anyway. I don't know why the manufacturers have gone over to these snap-together ones but I'd put money on it being assembly time or to avoid them being over/under torqued. As and when I get to it I'll be back.
Doesn't say that in the manual
