Unsteady Idling - 3.0 V6

Hi all, I've had my 3.0 V6 GTV for a little over six months now and it's happily done ~4k in that time with exactly 0 spent on it! Only issue that's caused me any concern at all was the battery repeatedly dying - turned out to be due to a badly-wired aftermarket alarm system!

The main thing I'm trying to work out at the moment is the idle - once it settles down to ~600rpm it has a habit of dropping another 50-100rpm (right on the first marker on the tacho) and sound like it's struggling to pull itself back up. I'll tend to give it a quick blip if I'm sat in traffic - once or twice if left for long enough it has stalled from dropping revs too far.

It doesn't feel like anything is drastically wrong but it is annoying when sat in traffic jams! From searching around it seems like this isn't exactly a new issue but there doesn't seem to be any consensus on how to actually fix it. Anyone had these symptoms with this V6 and successfully sorted it out?

Mine tends to be like that after the winter lay up but after a few miles under its belt it will become smooth again

Mine did that when i bought it. I think it was standing for a while.
What fixed it for me: Wait until everything is on optimal temperature and go trash it. Rev it close to the limiter and have fun. Mine thanked me by a settled idling.

Just to be sure. It does it when it is warm right? Because as long it is cold it is quite normal that the engine has a higher idle - then slowly falls down. When it lowers idle mine does jump a bit (50rpm +/-) as well but it stops once it is up on temperature.
