Understatement of the year

A lot of forum members here have upgraded various suspension components with PU bushes. The most popular are the rear bushes (Springpan, Dogleg arm and upper wishbone) with poweflex items.

Opinions are mixed, many of us love the change but a few of us (not me) feel it makes the backend a little "Skittish" (or jumpy for want of a better to understand word).

Personaly i would recomend getting all the rear bushes replaced with the powerflex bushes but ensure they are fitted properly using plenty of lubricant (copperslip, provided in the kit).

The front is a different story. As the balljoints tend to fail as fast as the bushes on the front wishbones most don't bother replacing them as there is no benefit to the life of the arms. Front antiroll bar bushes are worth doing but are only supplied by superflex and are a pig to fit (The subframe has to be lowered to remove the Antiroll bar).
