PowerGTV looked it over at the back, bushes ok, arms ok, shocks ok. Hmm, what to do now? Rog recommened that instead of my local garage I should have the suspension set up by Elite in Rainham Essex, who are Koni installers, wheel seller, alignment kings etc.
So I trapse down there, and they're in the middle of a power cut
Waited for an hour and a half for the power to come back, then they had a look.
Every single measurement on the suspension was out, and by miles. None we even close! So, had Eibach camber bolts put in the front to bring the wheels in a bit and had them straightened. Driving wheel now straight as well.
As for the rear, there wasn't any camber adjustement. But the toe was well out. So they brought that in and made it all level. The final result is very good. The car drives straight and true, handles well and is a bit less fidgety on the raod.
All in, was at Elite for 3 hours! The bolts were £70 and the rest of the labour including the tracking brought it up to £152 all in. The result is a changed car and I'm very happy. I would recommend Elite to anyone!
