Wheel Wobble with Spacers

I would like to fit a set of teledials on my 96 GTV, i have hubcentric wheel spacers (15mm) but get terrible handling with the spacers on the front, the rears are ok. Any ideas????. The car does'nt look right with no spacers at the front so that is not an option.

Re: Wheel Wobble with Spacers

Short answer: fitting spacers screws up your steering geometry!

Re: Wheel Wobble with Spacers

Are now then wobbly wheels as you know are caused by two things, wheel offset is one thing ie when the middle of the wheel is not inline with the middle of the hub/bearing.the other is when wheel spacers are used/ and i think vespasion what you have is wheel eccentricity ie your wheel spacers are not tight on your hub/if there is a slight allowance of the spacer over the original hub you will get a wheel which is doing two things 1 it's rotating 2 it's rotating in an eccentric arc, which is due to the slightest tolerance of the spacer over the original hub/ when the spacer is hanging on the original hub due to gravity pulling it down you are bolting your wheel on the hub offset i'm not sure if i have the science wording correct but i'm sure you will know what i mean.
