Radiator leak. Advice required
I changed my thermostat two months ago without issue. I've recently noticed a very slight (weeping) leak of radiator coolant which drips from the R/H side of the crossrail (Item 8) and the undertray below it. I have removed the undertray for closer inspection. There is no obvious leak at the hose connections. I am assuming the radiator may be on its way out where it sits on the crossrail as there is no sign of leaking higher up.
The coolant loss rate does not warrant me stripping the car down further to try and locate the exact location of the leak and I am prepared to 'top up' when necessary, which will not be often at the current loss rate.
My question is: Is it safe do do this until 'if and when' the leak warrants changing the radiator? I will not use RadWeld.
