Some questions about Alfadiag on GTV

Hi all,
I've been doing a bit of searching and I'm quite keen on getting Alfadiag to work with my 98 GTV V6. I have the red injector type ecu light, which I believe means I have OBD, which is the correct type of system for Alfadiag. Most posts seem to indicate that the ECU might be in the passenger footwell and that I can find the ECU model info from looking at it, however I can't seem to find it! Am I looking in the wrong place? Is the connector on the ECU or elsewhere? If someone could post a picture, that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Re: Some questions about Alfadiag on GTV

I think it maybe behind the glovebox or on the outer side panel just in front of the door hinge.
Noticed a box near the door hinge on mine (not sure if it was the ECU) and have seen posts about it being behind the glovebox. It may depend on year/model of car.
The connector is right by your right knee when in the driving position if yours has a 16 way connector like my 99 GTV.
I have only just got Alfadiag. Couldn't maintain a connect for very long on my old Dell laptop so tried it on the new Acer and it works 100%. Might be because I was using a USB lead. The Dell may prefer a serial lead.
