Struggling with a '97 Phase 1 2.0 twinspark Spider which has a very odd idle pattern. Car runs and drives ok but its warm idle which is fairly steady with only a 50 rpm variance from 790 - 840rpm sounds pretty rough as if there's a misfire.
New flexible hose (Autolusso) fitted into throttle body. Swopped over the following from a car the same age and it made no difference:-
ICV - also cleaned this with carb cleaner and dried it out
Ignition coil pack
Checked for leaks on all intake hoses
Cleaned out throttle body
Hooked up Multiecuscan and there are no errors and ran the full list of actuators and all fine.
Checked Lambda sensor and voltages vary from 142mV to 750mV but not sure if that's normal.
Carried out the ecu reset recommended on here as well.
Other than a dodgy injector which work fine at anything above idle I'm struggling to come up with anything else.
Car did have its cambelt and variator replaced recently using camlocks so doubt the timing is out.
Anyone any other ideas or parameters to look at with Multiecuscan? There's no reset adjustment to be made on the Bosch M2 10.4 ecu on a Phase 1.
