Question on changing engines

The question is, can you move a 916 Spider Twinspark engine into an Alfa 147 (which has a TS engine.)

The 147 has a cf3 engine whilst the Spider looks like cf2. I understand the block is the same but there may be problems with ancillaries.

Can it be done and what pitfalls?

PS I've put this on the 147 forum as well as someone out there may be able to answer.

Fairly straightforward. Transfer the externals from waterpipes to manifolds if they appear different. Do not throw anything away until completed. Before you do anything remove the required ecu and put it safe inside the car you restoring.
