Wobbly Wipers and Lacklustre 'lectrics
Mrs Pat's spider has had a run of flashing brake warning lights. Pads and discs have only about 5K on them so assumed mucky/ knacked sensor.
The wipers started to play up, basically either not staying on when fully on or not switching off. Then the washers would not stop. Then they stopped altogether. A bit of scrabbling about showed a blown fuse. The replacement fuse lasted 2 seconds. After reseating a relay the fuse hung in and all seemed OK. That's not the way it rolls with Mrs Pat, so two days later we are back to where we started. Local diagnostic is 'motor is knacked' which then produces the staggering prospect of a near £700 bill for a new motor! WTF!!
Is it a duff motor? Or are the electrics in need of some arcane fiddling?
