It had a new AFM about 18 months ago so at least i know where that is. Is the air temp sensor the part with the wire attached to it? I thought this measured the amount of air not the temp.
If this isn't it, please can you let me know where it is?
When it fails to start there is no life at all from the starter motor, so it won't even turn over. For it to be the AFM wouldn't it need to be drawing air in?
BTW when it doesn't start it will bump start with a small push therefore I felt it had to be in line with the starter, no? Or does the AFM sense the air temp prior to anything happening?
