Upgrade stereo

Hi I have a 2004 Spider 3.2 Lusso with a standard factory CD player and wish to fit an auxiliary for my IPod is this an easy job or do I need to buy another CD player? Would like to keep original Alfa Romeo.
Thanks in advance

Most people end up changing it because there isn't much other choice if you want iPod etc
There were a couple of devices that plug into the CD changer port on the back of the head unit but I don't think they are manufactured anymore.

There are certainly CD changer emulators still available - Loudlink, XCarLink, Yatour, Dension. You have basically the same stereo in a phase-3 Spider as in a 156 or 147, but with a rare front bezel - don't throw it out.

I'm using a Loudlink in my 147 with Bluetooth music streaming and I'd suggest that as an economical solution that still keeps the original look. The Bluetooth has much better sound quality than expected. Loudlink.eu is the website as I recall.
