replacing plugs + cables on TS ?
got a misfire that returns from time to time, although suspecting fuel debris as cause i wish to rule out old plugs and leads first - could somebody kindly provide an idiots guide - I have a selection of hex drives and prob a suitable plug spanner - any special tools needed? - what plugs are std? - any preferred ones for an engine with 120k miles? - lastly if it is fuelling, where to look? - It may just be my imagination, but going around a tight corner seems to start the coughing - which can be severe - whilst driving and holding a steady throttle, it will occasionally come clean for the odd few secs and lurch forward.
Drove fine for nearly a hundred miles yesterday with varying speeds and temps, then suddenly started after going around a mini roundabout (might be imagination) -
Really need to urgently fix this as car just failed emissions (having not coughed for over hundred miles) - mot guy said marginal and ok last time he checked a few weeks back and to run a cat cleaner - obviously now need to track down misfire first...
