The boxter is more of a womans porshce, the 2.7 is very slow & has embarrassing peformace for a porshce badge to be on the front of it.
The GTV is a bit old & looks like it's only worth 1,500 qwid & it will probably rattle inside like mad.
If you want an Alfa go for a solid Q4 3.2 Alfa Brera instead
MGTV, judging by what i've read so far from Gtv owner's themselves, the dynamics are poor. From a creaky old Fiat tipo chassis, so inside it must be like listening to a bowl of rice crispy's.
They said a Boxter would make it look silly not me.
Also whilst your wanting facts, two facts that invole the Brera you failed to mention (probably or FACT? Because you was to busy thinking of insulting me?)
#1 They scrapped the old creaky rickety Gtv for the Brera.
#2 They scrapped the busso V6 for GM's V6. Fact or probably?
I think this time you don't have to spell it out to me, or SHOULD i say misspelled?
Because we all now the anwsers..... FACT!
So spelling isn't your strong point, neither it would appear are facts.
The GTV/Spider was in production for 10 years, total production 80.747 before it was succeeded by the Brera.
The Brera/Spider was in production for 5 years, total production 34,024 before it was discontinued or scrapped, no successor. It was a bit of a commercial disappointment &/or flop. FACT
The Busso is widely accepted as one of, if not the best, mass produced V6 engines ever made. This cannot be said for the GM V6 in the Brera. FACT
You not only insulted the OP's Porsche but also the GTV in your 1st post in this thread where you also implied that a Brera was a better choice.
Lap time comparison between the 3 cars would put them:
1st Porsche Boxster 2.5
2nd GTV 3.0
3rd Brera 3.2
It's best sometimes to think before bigging up your own car & putting down the GTV, especially in a GTV forum.
That said I quite like the Brera for what it is, a very capable & comfortable over weight car which lacks that bit extra found in other earlier Alfa models. Many Alfa dealers, who had to try & sell it, also thought this. FACT
The GTV/Spiders had their own identity, no other models shared their looks. The Brera closely shares the then Alfa family frontal design & resembles a 159 coupe. FACT
Did I mention that the lady who bought a Cup from me part exchanged her Brera for it as she missed the character her old GTV had & thought the Brera 'a bit boring'? FACT
