I don't bother powerflexing the rear wishbones because of all the issues about getting the bushes into the subframe, lots of threads on here about filing down the metal insert of the bush. I couldn't get my powerflex bush in at all whereas other forum members got theres in no probs. I'm pretty sure Autolusso don't either when they do the rear.
What I don't understand is that all these components are fixed lengths, the subframe, the wishbone and the ball joint, therefore the upper part of the hub should be setup the same on every car, notwithstanding wear. The bottom of the hub is fixed by the dogleg and spring pan, again non-adjustable so should be the same on all cars. The only variable I can see is different springs, shorter eibachs (or weak springs) affecting the camber.
One way of proving/disproving this would be feedback from anyone who has fitted new rear OE springs (not suplex, eibachs, PI etc) to see if the camber is sorted. Anyone fitted new rear springs from Alfa and noted the camber?
