Just replace the whole system with a stailess sport system. I went for MIJ custom built in Birmingham, cost £375. But I wish I had got the Autolusso Wizard Unicourse Rep at £575; search on YouTube for the videos, sounds awesome!
Squeek and rattle almost certainly suspension bushes; I'm just fully rebuilding mine front & back with Eibach Pro 20mm lower springs, Koni SRT dampers, Powerflex in all bushes, new ball joints, drop links, front suspension top bearings (£104 each ooouuuch!) and having all my parts powder coated. I'm doing all the work myself (apart from powder coating) but I'm over £1000 on parts already.
Oil leak could be any number of things, but from where you describe it sounds like crankshaft oil seal. OK after you've caught your breath this isn't as bad as it seems; you'll probably be needing a new clutch shortly ( I went for the GTA clutch & flywheel upgrade at £780 fitted by Intaservices in Leicester), the oil seal is just a £20 part that you hook out with a screwdriver during the clutch change.
Next on my shopping list is the Q2/Quaiffe diff, about another £700 fitted.
Welcome to the madness!
PS Nearly forgot, you'll be needing a new oil cooler if it hasn't been done; DO NOT WAIT UNTIL IT GOES!! youl find that offside front whell arch, just in fron of the wheel, check to see if it's leaking NOW! I did this myself with the kit from Autolusso (£220).
