GTV v6 water pump removal

I want to know if anyone has done a water pump on a v6 without removing the engine.
I have done cambelt and tensioner easily with it in but is there enough room to replace the pump???

Yes it is possible but v tight. I used a bit of 4x2 to wedge engine across a bit and it then comes out.
Check the pipe in V and O rings each end - mine were fine but also used a bit of hylomar, also on water pump gasket.

I changed my water pump with some jacking of the engine up and down.
Take the drive pulley off though to get more space.

yes it came out easily enough when I changed the cambelt. You need to remove the pulleys to the right of the pump, the slide the pump it to the right before pulling it out the the wheel arch
