Crazed GTV TS induction/filter replacement

Was wondering if anyone had any experience or tales of woe regarding a filter change/upgrade on a TS GTV? I have seen a few nice aftermarket filters (Green K&N etc) which also have replacement aluminium hosing. This looks straightforward to replace but I'm sure isn't. One hose/tube seems to come with the breather holes but it loks like I have a sensor in mine near the filter end as well and I'd be looking to know if it all fits back together again properly.......
