Hi! A few months ago I bought a keychain for our 350Z made by Autoart. It was a model of a Volk TE37 wheel and it was expensive as hell. Then I tried to find something similar for my GTV but I couldnít find any so I decided to do it myself. I started working on a Teledial and a GTA rim 3D model with SolidWorks and this is what I ended up with:
Happy with the results I tried to get it 3D printed but it was too expensive, until a month ago I found out about a place with reasonable prices. I ordered a prototype of a Teledial keychain and yesterday it finally arrived. The material of this prototype is called Alumide, and is an alloy of polyamide and Aluminum powder. The finish is very porous but the color is close enough to that in an alloy rim. I gave it a couple hands with a transparent lacquer spray and it looks fabulous! I leave you a few pics of the keychain before and after the lacquer:
I decided to share it in case somebody else wants one. There are two available options for materials: Alumide and plastic, and for plastic there are 10 available colors (white, black, yellow, blue, red, green, orange, pink, brown and beige). The price for a 37mm x 37mm x 18mm rim is 10£ in Alumide or white plastic, in color is 2£ extra. Postage depends if you want it fast or not, 4£ for normal, 10£ for express.
I can answer any related questions in this thread, for orders please email me on email@example.com
, donít send me any PMs because my inbox here is almost full and I donít want to delete any of the messages I have. Soon Iíll order a prototype of the GTA rim keychain and Iíll post it here. Cheers!
