BMC CDA position

Hi guys,

my 3.0 runs with a BMC CDA without a air feed pipe from the front. It had one on it but it fell off on a trip I did earlier in the year.

I'm thinking of better ways to mount the CDA. Currently it sits down the front - following with stock airbox with a (used to be there) air feed pipe from the front Cup splitter airvent to the CDA box. IS there a way to re route this pipe for the best airflow into the CDA or just mount the CDA another way?

Does anyone have theirs mounted different from the norm? The norm being following the stock airbox used to be situated?

My V6 has it in the stock airbox position (no other place really) and an air feed from the Autodelta front spoiler. I had issues with it sucking up water just over a year ago that almost cost me the engine, so now it is angled not to scoop from in front of the wheel area.

Oddly the flexi pipe from the new CDA split and broke within a few months. Its currently gaffer taped to seal it up, pending a proper piece of pipe being sourced.

My car is low, but not a snowplough, so no idea hwy it wore away so easily.
