I'm moving overseas in two weeks and as my beloved spider has just failed her MOT I'm stuck between putting a new exhaust on and selling it (total expected spend for a full stainless exhaust from the Cat back is £325 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2307702936...84.m1423.l2649
) and making maybe £300-400 or simply selling as a project.
I don't have time with packing a house to spend hours going to get this fitted so I have decided to sell or scrap the car.
It's got the 17inch spokes on it which are brilliant and although it's a phase I it's got all of the exterior phase II upgrades with the phase I leather interior.
The stereo is a Sony (bluetooth linking to your phone / iPod etc) with some epic speakers fitted.
If I was taking it to Sweden with me I would eventually replace the rear callipers as well as replace the exhaust but aside from that she is in brilliant condition.
93000 miles, just 22k since the cam belt change, new clutch about 15k ago and all the suspension is sound, much of it having been replaced along with brand new discs and pads just 3000 miles ago. Rear spring pans are SOLID, I replaced the corroded parts last winter with solid ones. I gave it an oil change / service about 600 miles ago. I have a load of spare parts that can come with the car too. The roof is great condition with no holes or leaks.
So, beat the scrap man and it's yours.... You have 1 week to decide then she goes for breaking. I do not have time to break parts but if you do and you want a part from her you can come get it, but I am not helping or watching her be dismantled on my drive.
If you want the wheels, and no one makes a better offer than the scrappy, and you have a set to swap on you are welcome to them for a modest price, including the spacers and wheel nuts.
