ground clearance v6
In preparation for a good drive tomorrow, I've just been giving my v6 a once over. Had a look underneath and notice that the clearance between the exhaust from downpipes to the centre cats (cf3) is worryingly little.
I've just had a set of alfaholics downpipes fitted, not sure if that makes a difference? Car is not lowered, just standard springs and shocks all round.
Driveway ruts might be emphasising this a bit but it looks like there is only about 3 inches between the ground and the exhaust....
Is this normal?
It is the leading edge of the flexis that is the lowest part. The little clamp that holds the downpipes up to the body wouldn't fit due to the increased diameter of the downpipes, so has been omitted - maybe I need to find a substitute clamp?
Anyone with Alfaholics downpipes care to share what they have done here?
Many thanks, Tom
