Help Clutch Problem

A slight problem with the clutch in my Spider 2.0 TS. Just recently purchased with 60,000 km. The clutch works perfectly well 99% of the time, however, usually after the first few kms after start up the clutch pedal pressure feels notchy and seems to stick. With a couple of pumps its back to normal and the problem doesn't reoccur until the next day, but again only in the one instant.

Re: Clutch Problem

Seems like an hydraulic problem - worth checking the slave cylinder for leaks.

I did have one journey where the pedal felt notchy and it seemed to stick momentarily when I released it. After a while I realised that the pedal was catching on the edge of the floor mat.

Ditto, this always happens to me due to the sloping floorplan. First place I would look.
