V6 Oil Cooler & Pipes

I looking at replacing one of the leaking oil pipes on one of my V6 Spiders, searching the forum, I've found....

1) looks like a pig of a job
2) Pipes are not available from Alfa
3) I understand that Alfaholics have copies for ~200 and
4) Autolusso have a replacement kit where original pipes are cut and new pipes connected with compression joints ~220 (includes new oil radiator) reasonable price IMO, but I don't need the radiator (its fairly new)

So, I've been researching sourcing my own pipes & joints

Last piece of the jigsaw is the size & type of thread on the OEM radiator - does anyone know?

If you have a leaking oil pipe then I am a bit confused if it has been connected to a "fairly new" radiator. Normally you replace the whole lot - radiator and pipes.

TBH I'd buy the whole kit for 220 including the rad - you can just bolt it on.

Rich - I just did mine in the following way
I didn't want to use the autolusso kit as the rad is not OEM and a bit of a bodge, I also prefer the hose/coupling solution of what I went for (no offence) nor could I justify the expense of the alfaholics kit + the labour to fit + the VAT that for some reason they don't list on their website.
I had found a new OEM rad for peanuts on flea bay (30!) and Pirtek made the hoses - 140 although I think they fleeced me a bit. Good quality fixings. Can't remember the sizes of the connections I am afraid but if you take old flexis t them they can work it out for you..

I went for the Mocal rad via Autolusso. I use the car on track sometimes and happy with it.
It's a simple system to cool oil like this so can't see a problem in not using OEM, actually the choice of metals for the pipes and connectors seems a bit of a bodge from Alfa anyway.
I must say nice metal pipes would look nicer and you have ensure the pipes are tidy and not sagging, don't want them rubbbing speed bumps.

If you manage to get the pipes to hit a speed bump, you'd be writing the car off a split second later...
