hey A6. well done mate. is such a nice thing. to get a car and put your mind to getting it nice. really nice results on the paint work looks nice a shiny. Did you machine polish it?
One thing. When you get wheels refurbed. In my opinion. Avoid just getting the faces powder coated. Even if it looks great. Its worth getting full refurb, you get a strong better seal between the wheel and the tyre and a full powered coat and double bake will always be stronger. Most paint shops will want to do a refurb but simply deflating your tyre and pushing the tyre back. Then flatting off any marks and spraying. And then drying the pain slowly.
but if you go to a proper specialist (funnily enough the best are "the wheel specialist" nationwide franchise). you will get a proper job and the wheels will be double baked at high tempratures and the finish is rock hard.
Most garages will charge about 40-50+ quid for a refurb like you had done. a full refurb at say 65+ quid a wheel is actually better value for money.
