Re: Manual Spider hood won't clip down on one side at the back
Is the motor on that side working? Just try lifting the hood out of the way and operate the motor from the switch, if you look down from above it you'll be able to see if it's rotating.
If it is, you may just need to adjust the pins that the motor grips onto. It's quit self explanatory once you get into it but basically you remove the fabric trim from over the pin and loosen it off.
You then have to use a bit of trial and error to adjust the length of the pin till it hits the motor properly and also still seals on the deck.
It could also be that the rear hood cover is out of alignment, to correct this, it's more trial and error again I'm afraid. You need to lift the hood cover and loosen the securing bolts on either side (gently) and tap it into a new alignment before tightening them back up again. You can usually tell where it needs to go by looking at the alignment of the pin as you try to shut the hood (ie. when its ready to locate on the pin, it should be in the same place as the hole not to either side etc.)
Good luck, can be a bit time consuming if you're unlucky but it does help.
