Its giving a view point on plasti dip... You dont have to agree with it, but its hardly even close to brutal.
Your first post was full of blatant untrue statements and was written (intentionally, or otherwise) to get a rise out of people. That's trolling. This is a thread discussing the relative merits and results of plastidipping. It doesnt need your 'its all a load of ****' input.
Recapping your first post:
Seek professional paint services if you care about quality of finish and actually maintaining the cosmetics of your car properly.
Argumentative, and nothing to do with the thread subject.
.If you dont have the cash to do it properly, wait until you do. Specially on a alfa.
Again, written to purely get a rise out of people. Come on down from your high horse. Why would you make the assumption we cant afford to do it properly? And you will have to explain why ESPECIALLY not on an Alfa.... because I cant for the life of me think what that reason would be ???
sorry to put a downer on the pasti dip lovin but....
no, youre not
.plasti dipping = non durable, dull, cheap looking finish
It is extremely durable, its not dull when mixed with the right glossifier etc, and looking 'cheap' is purely a matter of your opinion.
.Buts it not really fit for purpose in terms of the quality of the finish and how long it will last.
Says who? Im more than happy with the finish and its not designed to last forever, so your argument falls over on that point.
I wouldnt be surprised if the first time you pressure washed or cleaned with any intent it starts peeling off around the edges..
Prepare to be surprised!!
Now its pasti dip gloss white citreon saxos with halfords alloys, or plasti dipped bonnets done in some ****ty grey trying to immate carbon fibre..
Again, your are blurting out some pretty strange and inaccurate personal misconceoptions, and using them to thinly veil insults.
Now, into your second post:
.Dont seek professional paints services for your car. Get a can on this stuff instead.
I dont want or need to seek pro services to paint up some wheels with a plastic dip. You are trying to compare apples with oranges.
However be aware its difficult to use, very expensive, and once applied totally irreversible.
This is clear trolling. You know its cheap, you know its a piece of cake to use, and you know its totally reversible. Grow up.
There, you've had the rise you were undoubtedly aiming for.
If you want to discuss how **** plastidip is, start a thread on that subject and go wild. Otherwise, do us a favour and get lost, *please*
