I was stripping out the interior of my GTV on Sunday getting her ready for the roll cage (due to arrive on Thursday), I need to drop her off at the coachworks on Sat morning to get the cage fitted.
Anyway, come 8pm I decided to finish up and put the drivers seat back in and test her, she fired up first time but when I press the accelerator... nothing, no response. Damn.
Time ran out on me on Sunday, so I need to try to fix the problem on Friday eve / first thing Sat... hopefully a quick fix then.
I assume I've inadvertently disconnected the cable from the pedal when I've been pulling the carpet & sound deadening out... how easy is it to get access to the cable at the back of the accelerator pedal, and how does it connect (can I simply pull it back on using a pair of pliers or is there more to it)?
Forewarned is forearmed and all that.
Any advice now will save me time when I get home on Friday - and will be greatly appreciated!
Need to drop the car off asap Sat morning then take my son to the Rubgy 7's at Scotstoun, hence have very little time... hopefully a quick fix! How likely is that!?
