Looks like it is new tyres for me - I was looking in to it due to a whirring sound from the front (most pronounced under load and specifically on left hand bends??!?). I swapped the fronts for two of the wheels with new tyres off the GTV I have broken and I'm pretty sure that has fixed the issue... The last thing I need to check is where I can go to be sure it's not a buckled / egg shaped teledial. Anyone know a decent place to go to get this kind of thing checked out in the South West??
I'll drive it like this for a few days to be 100% sure (might look odd with different front and rear wheels but I want a fixed Alfa!). After refurbing my front suspension over the winter and fitting the teles the car is much improved on last year . However, I have to say that with the 16 inch wheels and tyres with deeper sidewalls that the car felt even more planted, comfortable and with the loss of the whirring truly brilliant to drive!
Hopefully the new Dunlops will go someway the making it similar on the teledials (as they do look soooo smart on the car!). Glad that others on here can back up that they will be a good tyre to buy.
