I'm Obsessed!!

Out in the Spider this morning, roof down of course and she's running sweet. I just happened to say to my darling wife, "Aren't you pleased we bought the car?"
A slight delay in the reply(which I wasn't expecting) and she says, " Great car if you weren't so obsessed with it!! And I thought I was just an enthusiast: confused:

My other half loves the Spider almost as much as I do. We had a lovely top-down run into Cornwall today. Still can't quite believe such a glorious little car can be had for such little outlay.

I think the answer is to be less obsessive!

My wife laughed out loud when I read your post

I must be obsessive as well!!!

In my case, it's must have two V6 spiders on the road (and another in the garage as a 'spares car') - just in case one breaks down!!!

Best pay more attention! And not to the cars methinks !

We went on a nice little run out around Bala and Llangollen today and i only got the last 30 min leg of driving .To think that a couple of months ago the car was my mid life crisis kicking in,and she wouldn't go in it much because it's not safe without a roof, and it will be too windy, and its old,and will be unreliable.............. To now,and i hardly get a look in.All good though, when this spider gets to the 'costs more than its worth to maintain stage' the budget for next one can be suitably enhanced

when it gets to that stage I think it is time to get rid of it and get something more sensible.

keep the car though..

Smashing day yesterday, over in Wales also cruising on the coast road out from Fairbourne Sun on the sea looked superb, and it a Italian coupe belle.

I know what you mean Alex. I get it all the time - are you washing/cleaning/fiddling with your car again!!!!

Got away with it today as I was working on the wife's Clio for a change - fitting a bust door look and removing a dent from the tailgate.

Cheers, Chris
