Car won't start... fuelpump, alarm related?
Saturday i drove the car backwards out of the parking spot, and after 4 meters, it stopped... and it won't start again. Now, i was low on fuel, so i manned up, got my jerrycan and did the walk of shame to the nearest gas station for 5L of fuel. Put the fuel in the car, but... it just won't start. The startermotor is turning, no error lights.
The car was towed to the alfa garage, they haven't gotten to it but all they could find was that the fuelpump should work, but it looked like it wasnt getting a signal from the ecu.
That made me think... could it be that my HPA alarm is malfunctioning? Is the immobiliser function somehow related to the fuelpump? Will it disable the fuelpump if it thinks the car should not start?
