The oldest of these cars are about 18 this year ..
generally a classic is over 20 .. there's no definition in the UK..
In terms of value ..Age.. the older the better, condition and originality are everything. everything, wheels, seats, trim .. even pepperpot wheels on ph1's
Mileage.. not important, unless it is really low..
Engine size is not important . look at E type jags .. earlier 6 cylinder cars are worth more than later V12's.
earlier models are worth more than late models . so we will never overtake the Alfetta GTV and GTV6.. same goes for spiders.
speaking of which look at the price difference between Alfetta.GTV6's and GTV's. not a lot.. condition for condition.
another two years and the prices of the early cars will start to rise .
The recent auction of CUP1 and an immaculate TS. have given us all a good idea of the true maximum market values of our cars ..
people put cars on E Bay with a stupid reserve just to use it as a free valuation service.
