Does this sound like the air flow meter?
Just made it home (safely) after a 10 mile journey when the car cut out/stalled every time the revs got low.
This happened two months ago, when I started it, it would just stall, it did this five time. On that occassion I left it five mins and everything has been well for 1500 miles.
Today I've been driving around quite happily, put 3/4 of a tank of V-power Shell (super unleaded) on top of the 1/4 tank or regular unleaded and it stalled as soon as I started it.
It's done ths all the way home. I had noticed before on occassion that the power seems to stutter a bit between 4000-5000 revs.
Is this a dirty airflow meter?
If so, and I unplug the airflow meter should it stay running and this would prove it's the AFM?
Any other advice tips appreciated.
