Hello all you lovely GTV V6 Owners
. (Thats the arse licking done!)
My cup failed its MAF last weekend, it turns out the motor factors sold me a TS filter which is some 2cm shorter then the correct V6. - As such I have purchased a MAF and correct filter, along with new silicone pipes for the intake hose.
However I plugged the new MAF in and the engine management light stays lit, I have cleared it with an ECU code reader but as soon as I start the engine the EML comes back on with issue on the air flow sensor.
Does anyone reckon this may clear after an ECU reset later today once all is put back together correctly and a drive?
If not where does the MAF cabling go to, is it fuse S12b (30A on bult head), if so none of the 3 fuses there that are 30A are blown and all fine. Any earths anywhere for this area???
The maf was defo dud as I drove it with it connected and then once turned engine off it wouldn't restart until after I disconnected the MAF.
The issue started last sunday when I booted it in 3rd gear and at around 6000 RPM the engine died, and then instantly after a milisecond come back to life but with the EML on.
Any ideas from all your alfa years of experience?
