Cruise Control - decrease speed problem

anyone finding cruise control decrease a bit slow to respond.

When I nudge the control up ( + ) i feel an imediate (slight) surge of power and see the spedo go up by the 1-2 mph the handbook says it should...

when nudge down ( - ) it seems to have no or little effect. Hild it down a few secinds and maybe it does - but it seems to then put back a bit of power / speed. HOLD it down for a while and it will reluctly rrsond a slow down but it feels as if the car is fightinging it!

Re: Cruise Control - decrease speed problem

Must admit, I hardly ever use the cruise control.

Normally I set it at a (high) speed, use the brakes
if there's traffic/cops and then hit resume.

Will check it out....

Re: Cruise Control - decrease speed problem

A nuge up or down changes the preset by 1.5 mph.

It only uses engine braking though, so you dont feel much decelleration when you want to slow down, like Nev, when cruising I hit the brakes to slow down then RESUME when the road is clear again.
