Urgent Advice Please.

Hi all,

Recently bought myself a 3.0l V6 Gtv and absoloutely love it.

However she is experiencing the bush issues I've read so much about.

She's in the garage tomorrow afternoon, and I'm having new spring pan arms and new east to west arms (the dog leg ones) fitted for 580. All brand new ***** parts.

HOWEVER, I was just wondering, me worrying about these things, whats to stop the garage fittting 2.0l spring pan arms and dog leg arms to her, will they fit? How do I tell the difference? Should I stick with this or just get new powerflex bushes only?

Any advice much appreciated, please please please.

Re: Urgent Advice Please.

As far as I know the suspension parts are the same when bought after as parts, the original 2.0l ones were different on the rear but updated to standard V6 ones later (I think )

I wouldn't bother with powerflex to be honest, I'm not sure how the rears work (not checked) but I'm sure they'll have a ball joint like the front which will wear out at a similar rate to the bushes anyway, so not really worth bothering. Original suspension is fairly tight anyway.
