If it's hesitating on a cold start i don't think it's the Lamba sensors as my understanding is that they are mainly used to lean the fuel mixture when (a) the engine is up to running temp & (b) when the cpu goes into closed loop mapping. While the engine is cold it uses a cold start map bypassing a few sensors till warmed up, ie runs rich.
Used to be an old trick over here with some of my cars in my youth, we put resistors on the temp sensors to show cold all the time so the engine ran rich and we got a wee bit more power at the expense of fuel economy. Nowdays with 95 costing about $1.65 litre i make sure all is working properly lol.
So as Jurdy said check the inlet hoses for cracks and/or loose fittings.
PS closed loop is consistant or steady throttle use, not flat to the floor acceleration.
