Zender Siena 18"s - tyres and brakes

Hello everyone,

Some ten weeks ago I acquired a set of near mint genuine Zender Siena 18" alloys from a fellow Alfista. Now I'm preparing to switch my 17" teledials for these.

Three questions:

1. What is the optimal tyre dimension to use with 18" Siena wheels?

2. Any recommendations when it comes to tyres in the premium segment? I was thinking Pirelli P Zero. Any other suggestions?

My GTV916 3.0 is quite a unique car considering shape and mileage and I want to keep it pretty much stock - however, I have considered getting the Alfa Romeo 330mm break kit from Brembo Alfisti.net .

3. Someone told me 330 brake kit might not be compatible with 18" Zender Sienas - can anyone confirm?

4. Can anything mentioned above be fixed with spacers or such?

Very much appreciate any help available - the Swedish GTV916-scene is limited in comparison to the UK one so answers would be most helpful.

Best regards

Tyre size should be 225/40/18, thats what i run on my 18s with no rubbing issues. Some people go one further and use 235/40s but i cant comment on those

Tyre choice is an open book really, all down to personal preference. I think Bridgestone Potenza are about the best tyre i have used

The 330s should fit under the 18s, they do on mine anyway but then i am not running Sienas. Diameter wise, they will definitely fit under the wheels but depending on offset you may need spacers and of course, longer bolts

Beautiful wheels though, look forward to seeing pictures of them on the car

I have my car lowered 30mm via an FK (i.e. useless) coilover system and run 18" sienna's and they did rub the rear inner arches slightly under load of two people.

Small spacers fixed that, but as mentioned, with a non-std brake conversion you may have an issue with offsets.
