Waiting to put my

T`was a while back that I did this so not sure tbh, but my inlet hose was splitting(very common prob) and so I opted to cut it up and re-use it to keep the MAF in the right place.
The join from the top of the CDA was a straight fit to the original Alfa piece of pipe you see in the picture, but I did have to figure out where to cut it for the best result. The housing for the MAF is also the Alfa one but after that is a piece if silicon hose with 45deg. bend in it of the right diameter to fit throttle body and MAF housing pipe.
This is not a big or hard job but to make it look good you must figure out how high to mount the CDA on the inner wing and where to cut the hoses. here`s a few more piccy`s to help.
Finally, if you look at the lower half of the bumper(passenger side UK car) you will see that the honey comb next to the slats is the ideal place to mount the intake pipe, there`s even an up-right to mount it to if you look down inside by the rad, gets plenty of forced cold air... nice. I had to order some of that crinkly metal flexi piping to do the job properly but it`s cheap as chips and worth it. no need to remove fog light.
End result is improved pick up on stock car and great intake noise plus super cool looks over the stock air filter. here`s some more pics.
