Already went the powerflex route through the whole rear suspension a couple of years ago, but I'm told one springpan is fairly well rotted, and the other is on the way, so repainted or not and powerflexed or not sooner or later they have got to be replaced. I didn't fancy buying second hand painted up arms when I've no real idea what's under the paint and so how long they'll last - and I plan to do a lot more miles over a lot more years on them. Also, I have an irrational emotional attachment to the rose joints and fancied getting them back!
I'm planning to give the new arms several coats of hammerite before getting them fitted. Anyone got a better idea other than dulux or hammerite?
