Fitting a window regulator on passenger side door of a 1998 GTV Spider

Hi I have just bought a 1998 GTV Spider that needs some TLC!

One of the first jobs is to install a new window regulator in the passenger side - Has anyone got useful tips on this from past experience? Or is there already a guide on the site that I have not seen yet?

Fitting is easy. Adjusting it is the nightmare! The full procedure is detailed in the workshop manual and with a 98, you won't have to worry about the 'up/down' ( autodrop ) device adjustment.

If it is just the motor that has failed and the actual regulator ( gearing, hinges etc ) is OK, you may be able to swap just the motor.
