wiper-engine problem, GTV 96- 2.0 twin

Hey guys!

So my Windscreen wipers recently stopped working and i think i know what the problem is but first ill explain how it all started.

At first, when they were still working, they would stop in the middle of the rain and start again a few seconds later. As days went the intervals between working and non working seemed to get much longer, they could be inactive for several hours and later on magically start to work again. But now they dont work any longer. So i have removed the Windscreen wipers and other plastic protection parts to gain access to the wiper-engine. Once i removed and tested it it seemed to be working fine. I think the problem is the other part next to the wiping-engine thats the problem, the one were you plug in the cables.

Ive taken a 2 photos of it :

2. Alfa Gtv 2 Pictures, Alfa Gtv 2 Images, Alfa Gtv 2 Photos, Alfa Gtv 2 Videos - Image - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting

So my question of all this, do you guys think ive located the problem? If so, were can i buy the part?

There is also a wiper control module up under the dash, drivers side that can go faulty.

If you are referring to the relay then yes I would agree the symptoms are classic relay failure the one you want is N14 located behind the fuse box (IIRC)
